eu vim no deserto porque minha alma é athirst
como selvagem, como bruxa-como estranho que a vida deve ser
teria mesmo seu gracejo
ame-me no último, ou se você não
amigo, cujo o sorriso veio ser
a chuva sobre, e o ar brilhante
sad são que sabem não o amor
mas eu não posso lê-lo agora
material da lua
sobre o rio beckon a mim
um céu que nunca soubesse o sol, a lua ou as estrelas
eu ganhei a raça
