african american poetry

nunca em toda minha vida
sono, irmĂŁo cinzento da morte
deixe um sustento da alegria vocĂŞ
lá pela janela na casa velha
para vir assim logo a isto imaginou a obscuridade
deixe-me ser sad
eu estive
mil anos silenciosos há
faça exame de meus bracelets
quando, cheio do amor morno e ansioso
abaixo do helm do guerreiro
eu verei uma estrela hoje Ă  noite
cĂŁo do gingham e o gato do calico
