embora repine do amor, e chafe da razăo
eu ofereci-os todo o farewell
sua cara é justa e lisa e fina
eu sou velho e cego
quando a noite drifts ao longo das ruas da cidade
o sol pisou para baixo de seu throne dourado
em algum lugar eu li um tale estranho, velho, oxidado
căo do gingham e o gato do calico
desde que, se vocę estiver por meu lado hoje
